应公司邀请,美国旧金山州立大学陈城(Cheng Chen)博士将来公司访问并做题为“Real-Time Hybrid Simulation for Research towards Sustainable and Resilient Structures”的学术报告。学术报告将于 Real-Time Hybrid Simulation for Research towards Sustainable and Resilient Structures Real-time hybrid simulation combines physical testing and numerical simulation to enable the complete structural system to be considered in an experiment. It therefore provides a viable experimental technique for dynamic testing of structural systems to evaluate their performance and design methodology so as to achieve sustainability and resilience under earthquakes. Different challenges however need to be tackled to enable this advanced experiment technique to become a standard procedure for structural engineering research. This seminar presents the previous and current on-going research work on real-time hybrid simulation. Experimental validation is presented through real-time hybrid simulations of moment resisting frame with magneto-rheological dampers.
